Is it too much to ask that having knocked out Marcus Stroman early last night and having done it to Carlos Rodon in his last start against him in late June, the Jays complete a trifecta this afternoon?
For his part, after a strong 7 inning against Texas last weekend, Jose Berrios will look to turn in a second straight strong start for the first time in two months (5/31 against Pittsburgh then 6/5 against Baltimore).
The lineups are largely the same as last night, with a couple veterans DHing after a late night and early start resulting in some positional shuffling and on balance the Jays adding Kirk while the Yankees subtract Stanton favours them.
