The Yankees have consistently been around the Juan Soto trade rumors since the offseason began, and as of late, the stove is heating up, with multiple reports from different baseball writers about the potential trade package it would take to pry Soto from the San Diego Padres.
Soto is the second biggest name on the market behind only Shohei Ohtani, and with his left-handed bat, ability to get on base, and his position being in left field, he's a perfect fit for a Yankees team that needs another true threat (and someone who has won a World Series already in his young career).
