1999 Yankees Diary, April 24: Bombers beat young Roy Halladay and the Blue Jays
Briefly

On this day, when they were both young and in the early days of their careers, Pettitte and the Yankees defeated Halladay and the Blue Jays in a game that was not quite the pitchers duel that their careers might suggest.
Three of the first four Blue Jays batters reached base, and the lone one who didn't was Shawn Green, whose groundout ended up scoring a run anyway. Toronto plated two runs in the first in total.
