The Return of the Chytil
Briefly

Filip Chytil was a full participant in the Rangers practice earlier today. He's a full go, with no non-contact jersey. Word from a source is that he's been medically cleared. The #NYR are obviously prioritizing Chytil's health given everything he's been through, but I'm also hearing the playoffs aren't out of the question if all goes well 😀 https://t.co/SZcZs2tkSe- Vince Z. If the skilled center does make a return this year, the Rangers should not look to have him play in their last remaining regular season games and strictly eye the playoffs. However, if there is even the smallest sign of a setback or concern Drury and the Rangers' medical staff need to be fully prepared to shut this down and let him continue his recovery throughout the offseason. With the competitive nature of sports in today's world, we can't exactly trust the player to always be forthcoming about their status, and with the combined impact of hockey playoff culture and playing through injuries the medical staff need to be vigilant.
