It's another tough matchup with the Tampa Bay Lightning coming to town, but these aren't the same old Lightning. They are good and they have a great goalie, but they simply aren't as deep as they used to be and they lack depth scoring.
The Rangers are still struggling to produce offense at 5v5 right now, something they certainly need to fix at the trade deadline. Exacerbating this issue is the powerplay, which has gone very cold and has been sub-20% for the last two months. They are nowhere near as automatic, and that exposes the 5v5 play.
