The Ducks have lost 12 of 13 and are truly just awful. Defense and goaltending are the issues, as is overall roster depth. This is the definition of a trap game for the Rangers, although is it really a trap game if they've lost 3 of their last 4?
Considering Boston is up next, the Rangers may be at risk of looking past the Ducks, something we've seen this group do in the past, perhaps as recently as last week. It doesn't help they are still dealing with injuries, and perhaps another tonight with the recent recall of Adam Edstrom.
