Celtic's manager Brendan Rodgers emphasized the club's disappointment over the inability to host away fans, citing Rangers' failure to fulfill their part of an agreement.
Rodgers mentioned, 'Listen, it's not complicated. I believe there was an agreement to carry out works to ensure that both sets of supporters can come.'
He added, 'You can only do that if the agreement is upheld with both. So if we can't guarantee that, then sadly we aren't able to open the gates for the away support for this one.'
The ongoing situation highlights a long-standing rivalry and safety concerns that have led to the current limitations on fan allocations between the clubs.
