Game #17: New York Rangers vs Pittsburgh Penguins Open Thread
Briefly

After two seasons of not running into the Penguins at all until February, the league schedule makers decided to match Pittsburgh and New York up in the early goings of the 2023-24 campaign. The Rangers and Penguins will only meet three times this season as opposed to the usual four meetings, and tonight's contest will be the last these teams see of each other until the middle of March.
A rough start to the season has left the Penguins with a middling 9-8-0 record as of now, but their +12 goal differential suggests there's more than meets the eye than a mediocre team led by Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and friends.
