With Alex Wennberg scratched and the Pack calling up a defenseman, it does seem like the Rangers are ready to part ways with someone on the AHL roster to make a move.
We've been theorizing that the Rangers will deal from aging out prospects. Matthew Robertson is the first player that comes to mind, as it's clear there will not be a roster spot for him any time soon.
