Designed by Nike with input from Mets' Lindor and Nimmo, the grey jerseys feature black pinstripes, 'NYC' on the chest, subway-system-based pinstripes, and a purple 7-line nod.
Uniforms include a subway-token patch, reference to the 1910s New York Baseball Giants' purple uniforms, 'The World's City' on jerseys, and Queensboro Bridge detail on grey hats.
Inspired by Queens' diversity, the uniforms pay homage to different NYC elements. The inside of the hats show a subway-map design, reminiscent of the 1980s Mets' font.
'City Connect uniforms honor NYC as the greatest city, showcasing various city elements connecting to Queens,' stated Mets' CMO Andy Goldberg, encouraging fans to enjoy the streetwear style.
