Ronny Mauricio is in swing of things, which really helps Mets right now
Briefly

The return of Mark Vientos to the Mets raises questions about the team's roster management, particularly concerning Ronny Mauricio, a promising young player. Although Mauricio was initially rushed back from Triple-A due to Vientos' injury, recent performances suggest he deserves a spot on the roster. With limited standout options at third base and DH, including Baty and Young, Mauricio’s versatility as a switch-hitter can be leveraged for a rotational role. Manager Carlos Mendoza acknowledges the complexity of lineup adjustments but views it as a positive problem, suggesting ongoing evaluations of player placements are necessary.
Welcoming back Mark Vientos shouldn't necessarily mean sacrificing Ronny Mauricio, another young slugger on the rise, especially considering the Mets' offensive struggles of late.
There's a strong case to keep Mauricio around for one simple reason: He's shown enough to help the Mets to win at this level.
The way I see it, this will continue to be a puzzle, where I have to work the pieces and put everything in place.
As a switch-hitter, plus the versatility to play three infield positions, Mendoza presumably could get Mauricio enough time to share a rotation.
