Rhys Hoskins torments Mets with homer, big hit one day after Jeff McNeil slide controversy

During the eighth inning of a Brewers Opening Day win over the Mets, Hoskins slid late (but legally) into second base to attempt to break up a potential double play.

Hoskins blasted his way to four RBIs in the first three innings, answering heavy boos from Mets fans with a two-run single in the first inning and a two-run homer in the third off Luis Severino.
