The New York Mets have purchased the contract of veteran outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. from the Atlantic League's Long Island Ducks. Bradley put up impressive numbers with the Ducks before joining the Mets' Triple-A affiliate in Syracuse.
Bradley was on a 28-game hit streak, nearing the Atlantic League record. He displayed exceptional performance, batting .471 with a .537 on-base percentage during this streak.
