The Mets, White Sox, Royals, Cardinals, Pirates, Padres and A's are among the teams pursuing the 30-year-old Fedde, who previously spent six seasons with the Nationals.
The Mets' top pitching target this offseason has been Japanese ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who is expected to meet in person with teams after the winter meetings. The Mets are also interested in Japanese left-hander Shota Imanaga, who has been posted by the Yokohama BayStars.
