Lindor crushed a solo home run in the third inning to cut the deficit in half at 2-1. In the seventh he tied the game with an RBI single. His big day at the plate raised his OPS to .687 on the year.
Martinez delivered a solo homer in the eighth inning for the game-winner. It was his fourth homer of the season and gave him his 12th RBI as a Met.
Christian Scott got the start and was lifted after 5 IP and 2 ER in 91 pitches. Adrian Houser came of to give two scoreless innings before yielding to Danny Young, who was credited with the win after his scoreless inning with two strikeouts.
Reed Garrett issued a leadoff walk in the ninth but retired the next three batters to earn his third save of the year.
