Daniel Vogelbach agrees to minor league deal with Blue Jays after polarizing Mets tenure

Toronto has agreed to a minor league contract with former Mets designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach, The Post's Jon Heyman confirmed. The deal comes after agreeing to terms with ex-Met Eduardo Escobar.
But it was not enough as the Mets decided not to bring him back for 2024. Toronto gets a player that has a selective eye (.342 career OBP) and mashes righties (.452 slugging percentage) but struggles immensely against lefties (.463 OPS).
