Even for his teammates, who have gotten to know him since his arrival in a Dec. 30 trade this may have been a surprise because Anunoby, whether approaching Thomas or finishing a fast break, shows almost no emotion.
"I just asked what that was about," Anunoby said. "I thought it was an excessive push. Just that. I don't ever want to see a teammate be pushed. That's it, nothing more."
