Knicks move up in Week 5 Power Rankings
Briefly

The Knicks continue to be carried by the league's second-ranked offense, scoring an amazing 131.8 points per 100 possessions over the winning streak, which included two of the nine most efficient performances for any team this season. They shot 50% from the field, 40% from 3-point range and 90% from the line in both of their wins early last week.
John Schuhmann of NBA.com gave New York a two-place push up the ranks for the second consecutive week but still left the Knicks outside of the top 10 in the Association entering Thanksgiving week. The devil is in the details, however, and Schuhmann's power rankings—as is always the case—didn't factor in the trouncing of Denver on Monday night making it reasonable for New York to fail to crack the best-10 this week over the NBA's official site.
All in all, New York put up a solid 3-1 week with a couple of games left before they return to MSG on Dec. 1 to face the Pelicans and set the last month of an extraordinary 2024 calendar year in motion.
