Pierre Engvall's late goal leads Islanders to season sweep of Maple Leafs
Briefly

The Islanders resumed their season after the eight-day All-Star break by snapping a three-game losing streak with a well-played 3-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Monday night. It marked the first time they swept the Maple Leafs in a season series since 1989-90.
Ilya Sorokin made 35 saves for the Islanders (21-17-12), preserving a one-goal lead as he kicked away Auston Matthews' close-range shot off Mathew Barzal's turnover at 9:27 of the third period. Matthews and Barzal were teammates on the winning All-Star team. Pulock missed 24 games since suffering a lower-body injury on Dec. 27.
