Former quarterback Robert Griffin III has criticized the New York Giants for their confusing quarterback decisions, particularly following the selection of rookie Jaxson Dart in the first round. Griffin doesn't dispute Dart's talent but questions the Giants' overall direction. He argues that with new veterans Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson added to the roster, Dart is unlikely to see adequate playing time to develop, especially given the job insecurity of the current coaching staff and management after poor prior seasons.
The New York Giants have no idea what they are doing at QB. Signed Jameis Winston only to sign Russell Wilson to start over him and then drafted a Rookie QB who will get minimal reps in his redshirt year behind those 2.
Because this coaching staff and front office might not have more than 8 games this year. They have to win now. That's why they brought in Russell and Jameis. Jaxson won't get the reps he needs to sit and learn in this situation.
Then the entire staff and GM would be fired which isn't a great situation for a young QB.
