Patriots could trade for this trusted veteran QB to support Drake Maye
Briefly

Mike Vrabel has focused on rebuilding the Patriots' offense and defense this offseason, making significant player additions throughout the roster. The offensive line benefited from multiple new players, and four additional wide receivers were brought in to address previous weaknesses. The selection of running back TreVeyon Henderson is expected to enhance the team's performance. While the quarterback position has solidified around rookie Drake Maye, concerns remain about the lack of depth, prompting discussions about acquiring veteran Joe Flacco to strengthen backup options.
The Patriots showed interest in Flacco earlier this offseason before he re-signed with Cleveland. Drake Maye has the keys now, but the depth behind him is shaky with Joshua Dobbs and Ben Wooldridge.
Flacco would give New England a no-nonsense veteran who can manage the quarterback room, help prep Maye for gameday, and step in if needed without derailing the offense.
