Tracy was a fifth-round pick in 2024 out of Purdue after transferring from Iowa and switching from wide receiver to running back. As a rookie in 2024 he played all 17 games, made 12 starts, rushed 192 times for 839 yards and five rushing touchdowns, and caught 38 passes for 284 yards and one receiving touchdown. The Giants will rely on rookie Cam Skattebo and veteran Devin Singletary during Tracy's absence.
