Tommy DeVito, who recently participated in a youth football camp, is facing heightened competition for the New York Giants' quarterback position after the team signed experienced players Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, and drafted Jaxson Dart in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Despite being likely positioned as the No. 4 quarterback, DeVito remains optimistic and committed to his role, emphasizing his mindset as an undrafted free agent amid the changes in the team's roster.
"It's the same mindset I've always had as an undrafted free agent, the same mindset regardless of the other guys [that were brought in]," DeVito said regarding his outlook post-signings.
"So much has happened regarding the Giants' quarterback room since Tommy DeVito became the first QB under contract for 2025 in early March."
"The team signed two experienced signal callers later that month in Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, before also moving up to draft Jaxson Dart late in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft."
