Why did the baby seal cross the road? It's not a riddle for this Conn. city
Briefly

A baby seal was found wandering in downtown New Haven, Connecticut, prompting a call to police. Discovered near local streets and far from water bodies, the seal was in need of help. Officers monitored the situation until staff from Mystic Aquarium arrived to rescue the estimated few-weeks-old male gray seal, who was lethargic and dehydrated. After a successful rescue, the seal is currently receiving care though it remains under treatment, indicating signs of improvement but still needing support to eat independently.
"We assumed he was here to try the clam pizza, but I can't confirm that... We're just happy he's safe."
"My understanding from Mystic is that the seal was spotted several times over the past few days and they were monitoring it..."
"Newborn gray seals nurse on high-fat milk for about three weeks, proving why this seal is lucky to have been rescued."
"He is bright and alert, and showing interest in fish, though he is still not eating on his own."
