Two NYC teens busted for allegedly taking subway train on a joyride: sources
Briefly

Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 17, were arrested following a joyride on an empty subway train in Brooklyn over a week prior. Authorities pursued the case after witnesses reported their antics related to the January 25th incident on an R train in Sunset Park. The younger teen was taken into custody at James Madison High School, while the location of the older teen's arrest remains uncertain. The group of troublemakers attempted to obstruct security cameras and even recorded their adventure, which they later shared on social media. Investigations continue as others implicated are still at large.
The brazen backpack-wearing crew reached speeds of roughly 30 mph during the caper, according to the sources.
They still recorded the stunt and later posted footage of it on Instagram, police sources said.
