"Two men suffered horrific knife wounds in separate attacks that occurred within an hour of each other at subway stations in Brooklyn and the Bronx Monday night, cops said. An 18-year-old victim was stabbed in the back and slashed on the neck and elbow on the northbound No. 2 train platform of the Prospect Ave. station in Longwood amid an argument with another man around 6:18 p.m., cops said. The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and is expected to survive, cops said."
"The suspect is a man in his late 30s or early 40s, according to law enforcement. Less than an hour later, a 33-year-old man was slashed on the forehead at the Junius St. station in Brownsville around 6:54 p.m., cops said. The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition, cops said. Police are searching for a man in his 20s who was last seen wearing a white shirt and carrying a blue shopping bag."
