Two Delta planes collide - ripping off wing - while taxiing at LaGuardia Airport as passenger describes moment flights 'absolutely smashed'
""We got absolutely smashed by another Delta flight. I don't know if we hit them or they hit us, but it was super jarring," Annunziato said in a video posted on X recorded from his seat moments after impact."
""Everyone shot forward in their seats and it was kind of a little chaotic as soon as it happened. We were shocked at what happened.""

Two Endeavor Air CRJ‑900 regional jets operated by Delta collided on a LaGuardia taxiway shortly before 10 p.m. The wing of flight 5155, departing for Roanoke, struck the fuselage of flight 5047, arriving from Charlotte, and part of a wing was ripped off. Emergency vehicles responded and photos showed a dented nose and a partially detached wing. A flight attendant was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries; no customers were reported injured. Passengers — 28 on flight 5155 and 57 on flight 5047 — were returned to the terminal after the incident. A passenger described the impact as "super jarring."
