The court did not offer a reason for the additional delay, but the trial was originally postponed for a day after Judge Lewis A. Kaplan said in court Monday that a juror had reported flulike symptoms and would be getting a Covid test.
Mr. Trump's lawyer, Alina Habba, who said on Monday that her client wanted to testify but needed to be in New Hampshire for that state's primary the next day, had asked that Mr. Trump be allowed to testify on Wednesday.
