Trains Delayed After Fire Breaks Out On Tracks In Crown Heights

A track fire erupted at the Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College subway station, starting at 8:17 a.m. and took approximately 45 minutes to extinguish.
The incident involved around 20 firefighters from the FDNY, who managed to control the fire without any reports of injuries. The cause remains under investigation.
Following the fire, delays were reported on the 2, 4, and 5 train lines, while the 3 train returned to its regular operation. New York City Transit provided updates.
