More than 50,000 runners participated in the New York City Marathon this Sunday, benefiting from cooler weather which provided ideal conditions for the challenging 26.2 mile course.
Spectators of all ages cheered on the marathoners, enhancing the experience with performances by local bands and DJs, alongside a myriad of encouraging signs.
