Tanaiste accuses Pearse Doherty of being a 'Jekyll and Hyde' character as Ceann Comhairle threatens to suspend Dail
Briefly

The Fianna Fáil leader said Mr Doherty was "Dr Jekyll to Davy stockbrokers" when promising to back a strategic fund for future investment. "Then you're Mr Hyde when you come into the Dáil," he said, after Mr Doherty had interrupted him. Mr Martin said Sinn Féin had voted against the fund this week.
Mr Doherty responded by demanding answers to his original charge - that Mr Martin and Fianna Fáil at the last election had promised to make available 50,000 homes at prices "less than €250,000". He asked where they were. They did not exist, he said.
Instead the average price of a home in Carrigaline, in Mr Martin's own Cork constituency, had risen by €100,000 since the Government came to office four years ago. It now cost €400,000, he said.
Mr Doherty said people were scratching their heads. "Where are those homes today, because the result of your policy is that you have driven house prices out of control, and out of reach of ordinary families."
