A short survey asks New Yorkers to evaluate many aspects of city life, including subway and public transport, walking and cycling, dating and friend-making, green spaces and neighborhoods. The survey also covers nightlife, live music, art, theater, restaurants, bars and shopping, asking respondents to rate satisfaction and affordability for each scene. Ratings use a one-to-five scale from awful to amazing and include questions about which parts of city life bring the most joy. The survey takes about ten minutes and offers entry to a $500 Amazon voucher prize draw; participants must be 18 or older.
