Marcelle Shehwaro, a Syrian activist, shared her cautious optimism, stating she wanted to enjoy the happiness of this moment without worrying about the future of Syria.
After years of fear and uncertainty, many were reconnecting with loved ones, like Shehwaro who felt justice was finally being restored for the Syrian people.
