Both accused, Salwan Momika and Salwan Najem, are facing four counts for making derogatory remarks about Muslims and burning the Quran during public demonstrations in Sweden.
Momika's actions were framed as protests against Islam, while his defense claims his intentions were within rights protected by the Swedish Constitution.
