Student Protester Is Suspended After Anti-Zionist Video
Briefly

Khymani James, the Columbia University student, who administrators said had been banned from campus after a video resurfaced in which he said Zionists don't deserve to live and Be grateful that I'm not just going out and murdering Zionists, has been put on interim suspension, according to a notification that the university sent to him.
Mr. James emerged as a leader of CUAD, Columbia University Apartheid Divest, organizing a pro-Palestinian encampment. A screenshot of the suspension notice from Columbia was shared by his friend involved in the protest.
Mr. James, in response to online antagonizing messages, mentioned fighting to kill, defending it as necessary. He disagreed with the administrator on the problematic nature of his comments about Zionists.
After the video went viral, James issued a statement, admitting his remarks were wrong and clarifying that they were made before his involvement in the protest movement. Leadership took immediate action to ban him from campus.
