Director General Kevin Bakhurst confirmed the departure of Jim Jennings, noting that the decision was made with the support of the Workplace Relations Commission.
Bakhurst thanked Jennings for nearly 40 years of service to RTÉ, highlighting his significant contribution to the organization and public service media.
As RTÉ is redefining its Audio and Visuals briefs, Bakhurst mentioned that Jennings leaves at a pivotal time in the organization's new strategy.
