A rally and march were held at Cadman Plaza in Downtown Brooklyn on Monday morning. The event was organized by The Arc of Justice and Hands Off NY. Hundreds marched into Manhattan to demand a full and independent investigation into the death of Renee Good, a Minnesota woman fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent. Attendees held signs reading "ICE out of NYC" and "Immigrants are welcome here." Protesters called for an end to ICE operations nationwide, with emphasis on New York City.
