After recovering her phone, she noted, "Your whole life is on your phone - it couldn't have been worse timing because of everything going on with my work that day."
Describing her chase, she said, "I’ve been training lately, so I can run. I’m running and running and shouting after them that I need my phone."
Ms Du emphasized the rise in phone theft, sharing that many friends had experienced similar incidents before, making her situation even more unsettling.
