Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes welcomed their third child, Golden Raye, during the playoff season. Golden’s birth coincided with a bye week for the Chiefs, allowing Patrick to be present without missing a playoff game. Brittany, just six days postpartum, attended the next playoff game to support Patrick. Both parents expressed pride in their roles, highlighting their commitment to family and football, despite the Chiefs losing the 2025 Super Bowl to the Eagles. Patrick values the opportunity to involve his family in his football journey while being engaged in their lives.
Golden was born on January 12th. It worked out perfectly. We got the bye week, which Brittany had told me we needed to get from before the season.
Brittany crushed it. I was watching playoff games the entire day. She went into labor after one game. Baby was here before the next game. So I didn't even miss a playoff game.
When he's not on in football, he's locked in on being a dad, and being the best dad he can be.
It's been really cool to see my family grow up watching me play football, and I want them to be a part of all those moments.
