Shashamanie Thompson, a 30-year-old Bronx mother, was stabbed to death inside an elevator following a dispute with neighbors Beyonce Johnson, 24, and Saleh Ceesay, 21. Prosecutors allege Johnson repeatedly stabbed Thompson while Ceesay held her down, and the pair discarded the dying victim from the elevator. Thompson identified her attacker to arriving officers. Surveillance footage reportedly captured the incident, including audio. Ceesay was arraigned on murder charges and ordered held without bail. Johnson remains hospitalized after her arrest. Defense counsel characterized the conflict as an ongoing dispute over a dog left in the hallway.
