NYC straphanger set on fire blocked fiancee from maniac's flaming liquid in subway attack, has burns on 30 percent of his body

Petrit Alijaj, severely burned in a subway attack, protected his fiancée by covering her with his body, sustaining burns on 30% of his body.

During the attack, Alijaj's shirt caught fire, leading him to frantically slap himself to put out the flames while fleeing the train.
