New Yorkers have the chance to visit the Vessel sculpture at Hudson Yards for free every Thursday, but tickets must be reserved in advance using a NYC ID. These tickets are available at 9am on the last Friday of each month. Additionally, a limited number of day-of tickets will also be available every Thursday. The Vessel, an iconic art installation designed by Thomas Heatherwick, previously faced controversy and temporary closure due to safety concerns, now re-opened with new safety measures in place.

The Vessel, designed by Thomas Heatherwick, is New York's version of the Eiffel Tower but faced criticism that delayed its opening due to safety concerns.
From February 28 to March 2, the Vessel will be open daily from 11am to 7pm, starting March 3 it will be open from 10am to 9pm.
