James Mossetty escaped from police custody at Bellevue Hospital while being transported back to Rikers Island, slipping out of his handcuffs and running off onto the nearby FDR Drive.
Mossetty, arrested for assault, theft, and drug possession, was described as 5-foot-6, 180 pounds, last seen in a white T-shirt, gray sweatpants, black glasses, and shoes.
