"The new Staten Island route will operate in two legs. The first will run to western Manhattan, with stops at Battery Park City and Midtown West at Pier 79. The new second leg will run between the existing fast ferry stops in St. George and the American Veterans Memorial Pier at 69th Street in Bay Ridge. After Bay Ridge, the route will continue to the Atlantic Avenue stop at Brooklyn Bridge Park and finally Wall Street at Pier 11 in Manhattan."
"According to a schedule posted on the NYC Ferry site, boats on the St. George route will run approximately every 37 minutes during peak hours. Trips will also be scheduled around 50 minutes apart during non-peak hours. Currently, the St. George line runs every 28 minutes during peak hours and every 41 minutes during off-peak hours. While there will be more time between trips, the new schedule shows it will only take around 11 minutes to get from Staten Island to Brooklyn."
Starting Monday, Dec. 8, the St. George route on the NYC Ferry will link Staten Island and Brooklyn. The route will operate in two legs: one to western Manhattan with stops at Battery Park City and Midtown West at Pier 79, and a second between St. George and the American Veterans Memorial Pier at 69th Street in Bay Ridge, continuing to Atlantic Avenue at Brooklyn Bridge Park and Pier 11 at Wall Street. Boats will run about every 37 minutes during peak hours and about 50 minutes off-peak, with an approximate 11-minute trip between Staten Island and Brooklyn. Single rides cost $4.50, with 10-trip and two-day unlimited options available, and tickets sold via the NYC Ferry App or vending machines. The service re-establishes the historic St. George–69th Street connection that operated from 1912 until 1964.
