About 80 FDNY Bravest and EMS personnel fought heavy smoke and flames for roughly an hour before bringing the blaze under control around 2:40 a.m. Five civilians received treatment for minor injuries at a local hospital, one refused care, and another also suffered minor injuries, according to the FDNY. Emergency responders contained the fire after an hour of operations. Officials said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
