Sean Higgins, the 43-year-old charged with vehicular homicide, allegedly admitted to consuming five or six beers prior to the fatal crash that killed NHL star Johnny Gaudreau and his brother.
Investigators noted Higgins' reported impatience from his drinking led him to attempt overtaking two vehicles, ultimately resulting in a high-speed collision with the Gaudreau brothers, who were biking.
