The Unified Court System will hold a ceremony on September 11, 2024, to honor those lost in the September 11 attacks and recognize their contributions.
Remarks at the ceremony will be delivered by key officials, highlighting the importance of remembering those who served during the 9/11 rescue efforts.
In addition to tributes, the ceremony will feature performances including the National Anthem and a screening of '9/11 Reflections,' to honor fallen court officers.
The UCS aims to ensure the memory of Capt. William Harry Thompson, Sgt. Thomas Jurgens, and Sgt. Mitchel Wallace remains a central part of their legacy.
