Necklace snatched in Bushwick

On June 30, a 30-year-old woman was robbed in Bushwick at approximately 7 p.m. An unknown individual approached her and took a chain from her neck before fleeing the scene east on Monteith Street using a motorized scooter. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident. Police released images of the suspect, who was described as having dark hair and wearing dark clothing. The NYPD is seeking public assistance in identifying the thief and encourages anyone with information to contact their Crime Stoppers Hotline.
At around 7 p.m. on Monday, June 30, an unknown person snuck up on a 30-year-old woman in front of 10 Montieth St. and removed a chain from her neck.
The thief then fled east on Monteith Street on a motorized scooter. No injuries were reported.
Images released by police show the suspect to have dark hair and to have been wearing dark clothing.
