NEA INAUGURATES ARTSHERE PROGRAM WITH $12.4 MILLION IN GRANTS TO ARTS NONPROFITS
Briefly

The National Endowment for the Arts is thrilled to provide resources to a group of exceptional organizations through ArtsHERE, a program to help deepen meaningful and lasting arts engagement in underserved communities. Everyone should be able to live an artful life, and ArtsHERE is an important step in ensuring we are strengthening our nation's arts ecosystem to make this a reality.
ArtsHERE was formed in response to President Joe Biden's 2022 executive order aimed at making the arts more accessible to underserved and marginalized communities. This initiative is a collaboration between the NEA and various regional arts organizations dedicated to inclusivity.
We are very excited to work with these organizations on their projects. The arts are essential to building community and fostering creativity, and our aim is to support endeavors that enrich the lives of those who have historically had less access to artistic experiences.
