Mr Jones acquired a large suitcase to transport Mr Gilbey's body, making three trips to dispose of the remains, indicating a premeditated effort to conceal the crime.
The prosecution argued that Mr Jones carried out a "remarkably thorough" clean-up of his living space, showcasing an intentional effort to avoid detection after the murder.
Describing Jamie Gilbey, Denison noted he was a "very vulnerable, physically unimposing 20-year-old man who above all wanted to have friends," highlighting the victim's innocence.
